Diet Counselling

The Dietetics Department play a vital role in the recovery of a patient by guiding them to maintain a healthy lifestyle through the provision of dietary management consultation by our qualified Dietitians.

Diet counseling remains the main goal of the Dietetic Department for our patients. Commitment towards healthy eating and healthy living for patients, staff and community.

Scope of services includes :-

• Bedside diet therapy consultation for in-patients
• Diabetic diet management & monitoring
• Cholesterol lowering diet management
• Post-open heart surgery diet management
• Weight management
• Renal diet management
• Nutritional support
• Increased calories management
• Gastric diet

These counseling sessions includes the participation of patient’s relatives because they would be directly involved in the food preparation for the patients at home.

Our Dietitians not only give counseling to the Medical Check-Up patients but also lectures to the general public during forums and public seminars as part of our on-going Community Service Programmes.
