The Pain Clinic of Island Hospital provides pain management services to the public for the following :-

1. Acute postoperative pain control
2. Labour pain control
3. Chronic pain management
4. Cancer pain management

Cancer patients who have had their pain stabilized have the option of getting subsequent Hospice follow-up if they are unable to come to the hospital anymore. However we still keep track of them and offer consultation via Hospice if required.

3. Epidural analgesia via infusions
4. Oral pharmacotherapy
5. Selective nerve blockade
6. Intravenous sympatholysis
7. Epidural steroids
